@Cops

Good Afternoon Subscribers,

It has been a busy week in the Huntingdonshire District so I thought I would take the opportunity to update you all on what we have been up to.

The week started off with Bonfire night celebrations across the district. PCSO WARREN and I attended the Godmanchester event which went off with a bang! The event was attended by in excess of 500 people and I am pleased to say there were no reports of rowdy behaviour, just people having fun. It was great to meet some of the committee members who organised the event, making it enjoyable and safe for all. We thoroughly enjoyed it! I wasn’t able to attend the events in Yaxley or Huntingdon but I have been reliably informed that these were equally as much of a success!

The middle of the week saw the execution of a number of Warrants in Huntingdon.
These Warrants related to drugs and stolen property and we had some excellent results.
At one address we seized a quantity of Cannabis and reported a male for the offence of Possession of a Controlled Substance.
At another address we recovered a stolen cycle, which we successfully managed to reunite with its owner. We now have a suspect for this offence of Theft whom we are looking to deal with.

On Sunday our entire team, consisting of 3 Police Officers and 8 PCSO’s, took part in Remembrance Sunday Parades across the District. It was a very proud and poignant moment in my career to take part in the Huntingdon Parade, having previously been a Reactive Officer and having never taken part in this calendar event before. It was great to see so many members of the community, young and old, taking part. Thank you to everyone who was involved for making it a safe event for all.

Kind Regards

Emma
